Good Things from This Week
A roundup of the good, the useful, and the noteworthy
Whew-- this week was a doozy, am I right? It seems like everyone I've talked to has had somewhat of an emotionally, mentally trying week.
I wrote about this last week too, but I always find that trying times signifies change or personal growth around the corner. My therapist told me just last week that she knows by now, if she's feeling tension or tightness in her neck and back more than usual, a big period of growth is no doubt approaching. Crazy right? But also exciting!
The best-ever vegan documentary is OUT and streamable! Movie night this weekend??
I shared on the blog this week my favorite vegan pancakes, two ways! If you didn't have weekend breakfast plans, now you do!
OMG, find this vegan creamer ASAP. Also, the names of the flavors totally remind of Friends episodes--just me?
I'm makeup shopping (something I never do) for my show and found this very helpful guide to great vegan brands at Sephora. Milk Makeup and Tarte are two new loves of mine, specifically.
Looking for a good book? I'm notoriously unable to get into fiction lately, but this one has me looking forward to crawling into bed to read each night
It's only been a day of me taking this, but in case you're also dealing with anxiety, sleepless nights, or just generally want to give your body a boost with one of nature's most powerful superfoods, my coach recommended this Ashwaghanda supplement to me. This one is all vegan, and just glance at the reviews!
I hope you had a happy Rosh Hashana if you're Jewish (or as I label myself, Jew-ISH)! If you're in need of a vegan challah bread recipe (which you totally don't have to be vegan to enjoy,) I'll soon be testing this one as well as this version, to honor both my Jewish heritage and cruelty-free lifestyle! P.S. Is there anything better than some french toast with leftover challah? Just throwing it out there...
Enjoy your weekend! Stay tuned this coming week for a complete guide to vegan Halloween candy, plus an announcement about my next upcoming free webinar event!
